About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Princeton headquarters, playing a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of ISMG’s financial reporting. This is an in-person role, five days a week, working closely with the Director of Accounting & Finance and cross-functional teams.
As Senior Accountant, you will lead core accounting processes, support our AP/AR analyst on NetSuite workflows, and help strengthen compliance with GAAP standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and amortizations.
- Oversee and support the AP/AR analyst’s work, including training on NetSuite best practices.
- Ensure accuracy in general ledger, bank reconciliations, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Prepare and analyze internal and external financial reports.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation, schedules, and records.
- Drive process improvements for efficiency and controls in accounting operations.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to Finance, Operations, and HR teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
- 5–10 years of professional accounting experience, ideally in corporate or media environments.
- Proficiency in NetSuite ERP preferred.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

- The base salary range for this role is $85,000-$100,000.
- Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
