The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate, eager, and career-oriented individual to join our team as a Conference Producer! In this role, you be responsible for the complete production of 4-6 annual conferences from start to finish. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not compulsory as we provide full, on the job training.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate, eager, and career-oriented individual to join our team as a Conference Producer! In this role, you be responsible for the complete production of 4-6 annual conferences from start to finish. What you'll be doing
- Market Research & Analysis:
- Building a Steering Committee & conducting in-depth phone-based research of key subject areas & topics within a specific region or industry. Identifying the target audience & finding out what they want & need to know. Creating a comprehensive conference briefing document & accurately briefing other staff after conducting research.
- Copywriting:
- Writing promotional copy in the form of a conference programme, in the language of your target audience. Creating a relevant, thought provoking & high-quality program attractive to an audience of C-level executives. Ensuring that all sales-driven materials such as websites, emails & LinkedIn posts will maximise delegate interest & attendance.
- Speaker Acquisition:
- Identifying high-level, influential industry thought leaders & inviting them to speak at the conference. Recruiting speakers is done through various methods of communication including cold calling.
- Project Management:
- Working with a cross-functional team from several departments - i.e. sales (delegate & sponsorship), marketing, & operations to ensure the success of the conference & that it is delivered on time & on budget
- Onsite Attendance:
- Attending conferences to ensure excellent delivery & smooth running on the day, including the opening of your conference. This is an opportunity to represent the company, network with key players & speakers within the sector, & to shake hands & build relationships with the people that helped shape your agenda.
- A Bachelor's degree in relevant fields
- Excellent copywriting & research skills, developed in a professional or educational setting, & ability to conduct in-depth research via telephone & other relevant methods
- An appetite to constantly learn & develop skills with an ability to quickly pick up knowledge of markets & adapt to different conferences
- Ability to execute writing & research work independently while also possessing a sociable nature in order to confidently network & persuade speakers to join the conference
- Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills as you will be speaking with international business leaders over the phone (including cold calling) & via email/LinkedIn
- Strong project management skills & ability to work well under pressure & meet deadlines
- Ability & excitement to travel internationally 3-4 times a year
